Flags View

The RPD-95 Flags View shows the definition and state of each flag within the calculator. Note that some of these flags may not show what you would expect their value to be since the values may be constantly changing during actual calculator operation.

Flags

The set of flags shown in this view include:
  • User Flags
  • Documented System Flags
  • Undocumented System Flags

User Flags

are those that are generally used by, and available for use in user written programs.

Documented System Flags

include flags that are used by the system, and which have been documented in the User Guide and/or Programming Guide.

Undocumented System Flags

are those flags that are used by the syste, but which have NOT been directly documented in the User Guide, or Programming Guide, but which may be of use for certain classes of user-written programs.

Flag State Indication

Flags may be indicated as being ACTIVE, or INACTIVE, based on the state of the graphic at the right side of the display. ACTIVE flags are generally SET, while INACTIVE flags are generally CLEAR. Note that the description of the flag may indicate the flag as being in use, even though the state may show the flag as clear. This means that the description of the flag indicates a condition where the flag is clear when it is use (reverse logic).
