The Φ(n), σ0, and σ1 Functions

You can calculate Φ(n), σ0, and σ1 directly from the NUMBER THEORY menu.

Calculating Φ(n), σ0, or σ1

To calculate Φ(n), σ0, or σ1:
  1. Select { NUM } from the MATHEMATICS menu.
The calculator displays the NUMBER THEORY menu:
    D_urs8Bj
  2. Enter the value of n.
  3. Press the applicable key for the function you want to perform.
{ phi } - Calculates Φ(n), the number of integers not exceeding and relatively prime to n.
    { d } - Calculates σ0, the number of divisors of n.
    { sig } - Calculates σ1, the sum of divisors of n.
    The program displays the result.
